Community

Community lives in the Recl app on iPhone, iPad and Android: open the Community tab. It is part of Recl Pro, so every paid plan includes it and free accounts don't see it. The web app has no Community screen.

• One shared room for every member — no separate channels and no private messages.
• Text messages of up to 1,000 characters.
• Swipe a message to reply, or @mention a member by their public handle; they get a notification.
• Messages disappear after 1 hour, so the room is always about what people are learning now.

Members see Like and Comment on the cards in their Feed. A comment opens a thread where you can reply to someone or @mention them.

The Leaderboard ranks members by the time they spend learning in Recl, this month and all time. Open it from the cup icon on the Today screen. Only public profiles are ranked, and you can leave it any time with Hide me from leaderboards in Settings.

• The first time you open Community you agree to the rules: be kind, no abuse, no spam.
• Links aren't allowed in the chat, and messages with abusive words are blocked automatically.
• Long-press any message to report it or block its sender; blocked members' messages disappear from your view. Comments and members can be reported too.
• Our team reviews every report within 24 hours. Breaking the rules can get content removed and an account warned, suspended or banned from posting.

Replies and @mentions send you a notification, except when you're already looking at that chat or thread. Turn them off in Settings → Community replies & mentions.
