Refund & billing policy
Last updated June 12, 2026
How subscriptions are billed, how to cancel, and when refunds are issued.
1. Plans
- Recl Premium is offered as weekly, monthly, and yearly subscriptions. Current prices are always shown at checkout before you pay.
- All paid tiers include the same features; they differ in usage quotas and billing cadence.
- Free accounts keep working with reduced quotas — paying is never required to access content you already saved.
2. How you're billed
- Web — billed by Dodo Payments (merchant of record). Manage or cancel from Settings → Billing → billing portal.
- Android — billed by Google Play. Manage or cancel from Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
3. Cancellation
- Cancel any time. You keep paid features until the end of the period you already paid for; no further charges occur.
- Cancelling does not delete your account or content — you simply drop to free-plan quotas.
4. Refunds
- Duplicate or erroneous charges are refunded in full — contact us with the receipt.
- If a verifiable service failure prevented you from using Recl for a substantial part of a billing period, we'll refund or credit that period.
- Statutory withdrawal/cooling-off rights in your country (e.g., 14-day EU withdrawal right for digital services, subject to its conditions) are honored where they apply.
- Android purchases follow Google Play's refund process first; if Google directs you to the developer, contact us and we'll handle it.
- Beyond the cases above, partially-used subscription periods are generally not refunded.
5. How to request a refund
Email hello@recl.app from your account email with the approximate charge date and amount. We respond within 5 business days, and approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
