How Recl compares
Recl is a memory system for what you watch and read: it summarizes the videos, articles, podcasts and posts you save, sorts them into topics and quizzes you with spaced recall. These pages compare it with the tools people most often weigh it against, and each one says plainly where the other tool is the better choice.

How we write these comparisons
Each page is compiled from the other tool’s own website or official documentation on the date shown — for products that have closed, from the owner’s shutdown notice. We describe Recl precisely — what the product does today — and other tools conservatively: anything we could not confirm from those sources is left out, and we never claim a tool cannot do something we have not checked.
Every page has a section on where the other tool fits better, because for some people it does. If you spot something out of date or wrong, email hello@recl.app and we will fix it.
