Questions
Who can apply?
Creators with at least 1,000 followers on one platform: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X or somewhere else. If you're smaller but your audience is a great fit, apply anyway. We approve every creator by hand.
How much do I earn?
30% of the net revenue (what Recl receives after app store fees and taxes) from each subscriber who signs up with your code, for their first 12 months as a paying subscriber. Non-paying users and refunded payments don't count.
How and when do I get paid?
Monthly, by PayPal, Wise or a bank / UPI transfer. Each payment has a 30-day hold so refunds can come through first. The minimum payout is $25; smaller amounts roll over to the next month.
Do I have to disclose the partnership?
Yes. Whenever you share your code or link, say that you earn a commission, for example with #ad or your platform's paid-partnership label. The FTC, ASCI and most platforms require it, and so do we.
How does tracking work?
Someone taps your link, installs Recl and signs up with your code. On Android, the link carries your code through the Play Store install, so it's filled in for them. On iPhone, the link opens the App Store, and the App Store can't pass your code along, so iPhone users type it during sign-up. On a computer, the link opens Recl's sign-up page with your code filled in. Always say your code out loud or show it on screen.
Do I need a Recl account?
Yes. Your code is linked to your Recl account, so apply with the email you use for Recl, or sign up with the same email before we approve you.
Is there a dashboard?
Not yet. The program is a small pilot right now, so we send you your numbers with each payout. A creator dashboard comes once the pilot proves out.
