I used to consume everything. I remembered almost none of it.
I'm Asutosh, and I built Recl.
For years I watched, read and listened to everything — long podcasts, lectures, YouTube deep-dives, threads, reels and newsletters. I'd finish a two-hour episode feeling like I'd learned something, and a week later I couldn't tell you a single point from it. My Watch Later list was a graveyard. My screenshots folder was worse.
The problem was never finding good things. It was keeping them.
So I made Recl. You save anything in one tap; Recl reads it, writes down the key ideas, files it by topic, and brings those ideas back right before you'd forget them. It's the tool I wanted for myself — a memory for everything I consume.
Recl is independent and small, and I read every message. If something is broken, missing or could be better, email me at hello@recl.app.
