What Recl does with everything you save
Recl saves YouTube videos, podcasts on YouTube, Instagram reels, TikToks, X posts and articles from your phone's share sheet, the Chrome extension or a pasted link. Videos get a full summary with timestamps; reels, TikToks and posts keep what was said; articles get a summary of their key points. Everything comes back on one recall schedule.

One library, one schedule
Sorted by topic, not by app
A reel, a podcast and an article about the same subject land under the same topic, so your library is organised by what things are about rather than where you found them.
Everything comes back
Every save returns as a recall card after 1, 3, 7, 14, 30 and 60 days. One tap marks it reviewed; after the last step it stops coming back.
Ask your saves
Ask a question in plain words and Recl answers from the things you saved, with the sources it used.
Search your videos by meaning
In the Chrome extension, search your saved videos by what they were about, even when you don't remember the title.
What Recl doesn't do
- It doesn't transcribe Spotify or Apple Podcasts audio. Save the YouTube version of an episode instead.
- It reads public pages only: private accounts, protected posts and hard paywalls can't be read.
- It saves web pages, not emails. For a newsletter, save the issue's web version.
Frequently asked questions
- Which apps can I share to Recl from?
- Any app with a Share button that shares a link: YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Safari, Chrome, Substack, Medium and most news apps. Recl appears in your phone's share sheet once the app is installed.
- Do I have to connect my YouTube, Instagram or X account?
- No. You share a link to Recl, and Recl reads the public page. It never asks you to sign in to the app you shared from.
- Does everything come back for review?
- Yes. Videos, reels, posts and articles all go onto one recall schedule: 1, 3, 7, 14, 30 and 60 days, with one tap to mark each review done.
- Is there a free plan?
- Not right now. Recl is a paid app — monthly and yearly plans both unlock every feature, and you can cancel anytime.
