Discord is a free alternative to Telegram for users who prefer it. Both can be linked simultaneously — your active channel is the one that gets the nudges.
Linking
- Settings → Messaging → Connect Discord.
- Authorize the Recl app via Discord OAuth.
- Use /start in DM to confirm the link.
Differences from Telegram
- Slash commands only — Discord webhooks can't read free-text DMs without an always-on gateway.
- Recall scoring shows up as buttons, not list rows.
- Long-running commands (like saving a video) reply with a deferred message that updates a few seconds later.
